Exceldor implements a new business solution to support its objectives
Montreal, November 2017 – Following a thorough selection process, Exceldor has retained JD Edwards Enterprise One version 9.2 and Createch’s professional services to implement the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Exceldor is determined to focus on the future and achieve its defined goals over the next few years. As such, the enterprise has undertaken a strategic shift by initiating Evolution, a project aimed at implementing industry’s best practices (business processes engineering), as well as integrating an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to meet future needs.
The Createch team already had an excellent relationship with Exceldor regarding operational performance improvement. Implementing an advanced and efficient ERP application was the logical continuation in order to support the company’s business processes and achieve strategic objectives. At the same time, Exceldor will rely on Createch’s operational performance improvement services to implement DELMIA Ortems, an Advanced Planning and Scheduling software (APS). This complete solution will, among other things, allow Exceldor to:
- Foster collaboration between users;
- Improve management of the company’s resource pool;
- Reduce dependency on office tools such as MS Excel;
- Reach a highly detailed planning level.
Thereby, Exceldor wishes to improve operational control, as well as efficiency and profitability.
The Createch Group has carried out several ERP implementation and business processes transformation mandates. The firm intends to lead this major project on a three-phase period over 25 months.
